My Story
Tyler Olsen, a proud native of Plainfield, Illinois, embodies the enduring values of teamwork, service, and meaningful relationships—principles that were ingrained in him from a young age as part of a large family. Academically, Tyler's journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from North Central College, followed by a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University, equipping him with a robust framework for understanding human dynamics and leadership.
His professional journey commenced in the realm of higher education, where he dedicated over eight years as an Admissions Counselor at Lewis University. In this role, Tyler was instrumental in guiding prospective students and their families through the complex and often daunting admissions process. This experience fortified his resolve to be a steady, reliable guide, helping others navigate through life's intricate pathways with clarity and confidence.
Currently, Tyler serves as an Executive Assistant at a prestigious private high school, where he supports the president and collaborates with department leaders on strategic initiatives, further demonstrating his commitment to organizational excellence and leadership. In addition to this role, Tyler has ventured into the insurance industry, where he continues his mission of empowering individuals and families to make informed, thoughtful financial decisions.
Throughout his career, Tyler has consistently embraced his purpose: to be a trusted, calming presence, transforming complicated information into understandable insights and walking alongside those he serves through pivotal decisions. Outside of his professional endeavors, Tyler finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoys the spirited challenge of soccer, the captivating narratives of anime, and cherishes quiet evenings with his wife and their beloved pets—Freya, their husky mix, and two charismatic cats, Rex and Talula.
